Newbie from Staunton, Virginia

Featured Replies

I figure I'll make my first post here introducing myself.  My name is Mike Thornton and I live here in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.  Right now I do the majority of my bass fishing on the banks here locally.   I had a Nitro till last fall and couldn't afford it anymore with my 2nd child coming.  I'm hoping to have something by spring though.  I've been lurking on this board off and on for a while and figured I'd finally register.  Seems to be a bunch of decent folks on here.

BTW, if any of you need any company on a fishing excursion just give me a yell and I'll be right there.  Cabin fever is already taking it's toll this fall.  :'(

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

Cabin fever is pretty bad here also.

Staunton!

There is no water in Staunton.

Only a city.

However, we are very glad to have you with us and another Virginian to add to our Virginia population.

So you traded your Nitro for another child.  Not a bad trade.  ;D

Wonderful having you with us.  Just ask your questions.

A number of our Virginia members, plus Dave Saaverda, are meeting at the Richmond Fishing Expo on Saturday, January 17th so watch the Southeast Fishing for more details as we approach January 17th.  :)
