New to forums! Girly stuff

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

I will admit that I have been somewhat of a forum troll here for a little while but it was time for me to join and say hello to everyone!  You all seem very helpful and nice and I just had to be part of the community.

A bit about me.  My name is Jimmy and I live in Vermont.  I have a wonderful 15 year old daughter who used to come fishing all the time with me but now she is more interested in her cell phone and the myspace lol   ::).I love her all the same anyways.  I love to go freshwater fishing mostly for them bass!

I do have a question for everyone though.  Have any of you come across any websites or stores that would have girly fishing stuff?  Like pink or purple fishing rods and lures?  I would love to be able to get my daughter something like that for Christmas this year, maybe it will bring her back to the sport!

Thanks everyone!!!

Jimmy  :)

to the forum . My kids are 2 and 5 I buy stuff all the time at cabelas and Bass Pro Shops. My buddy just bought a pink rod at BPS for his wife.

Welcome aboard!

Get her a Pink Pixy matched up to a St. Croix Legend Elite EC66MF

for treble hooks or EC68MXF for soft plastics and light jigs. The rods

are on sale:

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

I was at Bass Pro Shop Sunday, and they had quite a selection of pink girly rods and reels. Both spinning and baitcasting. The price was quite a bit more affordable than the Pixy and St. Croix mentioned a few posts back.

Good luck,

Falcon
