Hello, my name is colton i live on badin lake in north carolina.Badin lake is part of the yadkin pd river line.im 20 and fishing pritty much runs in the family.My grand parents ran a small tackel shop in PA caled R&S Bait and tackel for about 15 years. My grandfather made custom rods for the public out of this shop. My dad grow up working in the shop and did real repairs. Grand parents closed the shop and stoped making rods because a neck problems.Thay moved to canada and ran a charter/gide service in the late 90s.Then lived in Belize and tryed to run one down in that area.i never lerned to make rods and wish i would have befor my grand dad past away last mounth.He left me and my dad lots of nice rod Lamiglasblanks,and fuji parts. so i am going to start working on that,(thats how i found this site) I primarily fish for blues and chanel cats but in the spring and summer i cant help but to sling bass assassns ;D and yo zuri jerk baits ;) hoping to find info on rod building ideas, and i need some new fishing gear and plan on geting opinions from all!!!
