are the two the same thing? i allwas caled them buck tail...but i gess if it has a skirt like a spinner bait then its a jig n pig :-? and hair its a buck tail.

thats the one by zoom im talking about. thanks ill stick to playing with the senko i just started with this bait and love it, i get bass that just want to fallow and look at my bait,and when i see that i tie on the 5"senko and thats the end off thet fish...

i also read somthing about a jig cald the shaky head? like a buck tail?

i went to bass pro tonight on a mishion to get a new mh 7' spinning rod for my penn4500ss....but....i ended up not finding somthing i liked(but that orange carrot stick ?) i grabed a allstar gt40x moderate light for $60 and a cheap pflueger trion for 29.99(not a bad reel for the money) i tryed it out in my pond and like this combo Its not like my texas allstars but compared to my dads fenwick hmx and falcon lights its holding its own : i allmost got a 7" somthing? mh carrot stix looked cool *** hell ANY ONE else rocking the allstar gt40x?(sounds like a ford lol)

I was told that bass pro has a deal that you can bring in your old rods and reels and get a dicount? it this like a trade in value? or wuts going on...and if this is right is it worth bringing in 1 year old tackel...or would i be lossing coin$$$

well im in fresh water. i got the real for $40 on ebay and pland it for hevey'er fish like cats and striper but... im in the lake and would like to use it for bass assasssins and super flukes .i would like to sell the reel and get like a 4200ss, like my mom got for bass.

wuts the best spinning rod "action"wise fore top water jerk baits like supper flukes,bass assassins,or even top water stick baits? i have a quantum pts 7" medium. 1/4-3/4 lure wt. but dont like it! i feel like i need a med hevey or a faster medium...but wut do i know?? i have bin using a allstar med hevey wr1 6'6" casting and like how it works for me. like i sed i want it in spinning for my penn 4500ss. any insight and info would be great...im not picky on brand but relly like all stars and my dad likes the falcons allot and would try one :

my water temp to day in southcentral NC was 63 on badin lake. wut depth should the bass be at in this water? most of the fish seam to be hung up about 15'- 20 ' on drops end ledges not much in the shallows.

i live 40min from a bas pro hear in concord NC and its pritty good to me.iv bin to a cabelas in PA for its grand opining and WOW that was a big friking store ! but i felt it was more geard tords hunting. i orderd things last night from bps and got a email to day stating that all of my items are on back order or reorder? wut ever that meant :-/ so i should have just drove 40 minits to the store >

man the more i read about this senko the more i cant wat to get my order and try them! i iv tryed worms for years and allways get terned off by them and think "why did i buy this bag of shiny pritty colors" i relly hope this senko thing pans out.... im tiered of working with yo zuri jerkbaits because thats all i ever have luck with and plus tearing one off >$$$$$

fluctuateing water level? how and will this play a roll in the spawn? the water i fish always fluctuats + or - 1' to 3'. today the water was about 2' above norm. I allways wanted to know if this had somthing to do with it. the river line i live on is controled by several dams.

yo zuri alie goby...i cant tell you how much this litty tiny thing kicks but,me and my dad have had this type lure by yo zuri for about year now and it wont let you down.we love to fish for white perch,crappie,shell crackers with this but man when you load up a 2 pound bass on a ultralite look out that penn's drag is screeming! i just wanted to express... and... ask If any one else has tryed the alie goby?

it was in storage,and yeah it leacked out around the top reel seat clampand down the handel .but its hard now and the seat wont budge ill try a heat gun.and if it remove it. can i use the heat gun to remove the handel/seat assembly?

im sorry if this is not the right area for this (if not please move). i need to repair a rod that i have. it seams that the reel seat apoxy melted? broke loose spun and hardened again in the ron spot. This casing mu seat to be out of line with the guides. is thear any thing i can do?a way to heat it up and spin?....or can it be removed and replaced i have lots of rod building suplys left to me by my grand dad but have not ever built a rod. my dad has fixed stuff like this befor but i havent asked him about it yet(kinda want ti learn on my own)

i love'd my cabo pts 7" med i got it on sale last fall at gods country outfiters.its great with my penn 4500ss. till i got it out this year and found out that the appoxy must have got hot and melted out of the reel seat and caused the blank to turn :'(.now the guides dont line up with the real seat and it was not like that befor i bought it because i check that stuff befor i buy

as most of yall probly allredy know this but the south east has had bad summers with no rain for the last (feels like forever)5 years.this caused the lakes around me to drop relly low. i live on badin lake and i can remember it droped as low as 15 foot one year. but anyways me and my familly would spend are days after work and school walking the dryed up lake beds exploring.Me and my dad would stack all the big rocks to form pyremids about 4'-6' tall.then the water would come back up we would have more under water cover for the fish. we still can see them with the depth finder 8-) thay are under about 12' of water now. allso the game commission will collect christmas trees and sink them to the bottom.

Hello, my name is colton i live on badin lake in north carolina.Badin lake is part of the yadkin pd river line.im 20 and fishing pritty much runs in the family.My grand parents ran a small tackel shop in PA caled R&S Bait and tackel for about 15 years. My grandfather made custom rods for the public out of this shop. My dad grow up working in the shop and did real repairs. Grand parents closed the shop and stoped making rods because a neck problems.Thay moved to canada and ran a charter/gide service in the late 90s.Then lived in Belize and tryed to run one down in that area.i never lerned to make rods and wish i would have befor my grand dad past away last mounth.He left me and my dad lots of nice rod Lamiglasblanks,and fuji parts. so i am going to start working on that,(thats how i found this site) I primarily fish for blues and chanel cats but in the spring and summer i cant help but to sling bass assassns ;D and yo zuri jerk baits hoping to find info on rod building ideas, and i need some new fishing gear and plan on geting opinions from all!!!
