Hello all. I am located in Bristol PA, just outside of Philly. Here is a little about myself regarding fishing.

I have not been fishing in about 10 years. Even back then, I didn't describe what I did as fishing, but rather I stood on the edge of a body of water with a rod in my hands. lol. I was not an expert back then, nor did I ever really catch much. None of that mattered as I was fishing with my son, who was 9 and 10 back then, so just being with him was my main concern. Then baseball took over (He is a college pitcher currently) so the fishing stopped.

He just finished his freshman year in college and when he came home, he suddenly got the fishing bug, and has been begging to go fishing. So I decided this time I want to learn and to actually catch stuff. As I was very short on gear I went out and bought 2 basic $35.00 Quatum (?) spincasting rods, and a bunch of tackle. So I am here to learn how to actually catch fish this time around, and make the experience with my son even greater.

I am sure I will have a ton of questions, but will ave them for a new thread. Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone.
