Hello everyone!

I am new here and sort of to the world of fishing. I started fishing about 2 months ago, it is lots of fun! I am actually looking into fishing for Bass now (I only caught catfish before), but I am wanting to learn to catch Bass now. So, I will be reading up on as much as possible on the forum and ask questions every now and then.

The only place I have been to, that I know of, for fishing has been Leesylvania State Park. So, any recommendations for new spots help in the NoVa area (for those of you from VA). Hopefully as I get better I will be able to go try out new places. Any tips for where to start bass fishing and what I need to get would help. But for now:
