hi, i'm really excited to be part of your forum. i'm from southern maine and have just started fishing again after many years . when i was a kid growing up in connecticut i always had a fishing pole and a can of worms with me. today i caught my first true lunker, a 3# 16" large mouth bass. what a rush ! i don't have a boat so i do all my fishing from shore without all the electronics that the bass boats have. sometimes i think that makes me have to work harder to find the fish but i love the chase. the lakes in maine are always so pretty and clean and if i don't catch anything after a while i just jump in and enjoy the swim. again thanks for letting me in, i hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Welcome aboard!

Maine has some great smallmouth water.

I wouldn't waste time with green fish if I

lived there.
