Has anyone ever carolina rigged a tube? Just wondering it would seem to be a productive presentation. I have seen people texas rig them but never carolina.

absolutly! Shove a foam earplug inside and it'll float!

Carolina rigged tubes work very well. The trick of placing earplugs or styrofoam in the tube helps it float and stay more visible to bass.

tried the foam earplugs in the tube today, worked out excellent caught 14 largemouths in 2 hrs out of a local pomd i fish at. i fished it carolina rig.

Also you can stick 1/2 an Alka Seltzer tablet in before the foam and add an extra aspect to the floating tube.

Awe man! you let that one out of the bag!

I go through enough alka seltzer at home, but I'm going to have to try the earplug trick!

A chunk of sponge will do the trick if you can't find earplugs.

You can also use those foam pencil grips instead of earplugs. You can cut them down to decrease floatation.
