Never had a problem with snakes. Leave them alone and they'll leave you alone.

I'm more scared of geese and frogs/toads.

Leave them alone and give them their space and you will be ok. The geese on the other hand, are absolutely insanely unpredictable.lol

Oh man...i can't fish near the geese. I'm afraid one is gonna run up and bite my butt when i have my back turned. I chase those things outta there. I don't care if i look odd barking at them...i wanna fish in peace!

yeah geese are horrible especially when they have nests

think geese are bad, try a pi@#$d off swan. Twice as mean as a goose and 2-3 times the size. I had one come all the way across a small lake after me once while I was wade fishing. They are VERY territorial. Chased me out of the water 3 times that night.

Speaking of geese, i was walking around the bank on a pond today, and I guess I got a little too close to their nest. They were about 20 yards behind me on the bank when I got close to their nest. All of the sudden, I feel something jab in my back (not going to lie, it hurt quite a bit) and wings flapping at me. I have never ran so fast in my life getting away from those geese...

I hate geese. I always walk up on their nests when I am bank fishing. They scare the crap out of me.

Still not as bad as being chased by a water moccasin though.

Geese are definitely bad news but snakes are worse cuz you dont always seem em.

Snakes dont bother me at all. Its just when they like to play peekaboo.

Man I just hate snakes! Don't care if they're a 1' garder, a 5' black snake or a rattler! HATE them all! My one buddy told me the other day snakes were out all over the place at this one spot I love to hit in the prespawn. Needless to say, unless its a cold nasty day, I probably won't be hitting there anytime soon.

Haven't had any issues with geese, they'll hiss at me from time to time but that's about all.

i absolutely hate snakes, am terrified of them. i also dont know if i could fish somewhere with gators without constantly looking for them...

I don't care for snakes, but I let them go unless its one of the deadly 4 here in texas. If its poisonous, it generaly gets a bad case of lead poisoning.

I loathe geese. Just this past Monday, my buddy and I were out in his boat all by ourselves on our local pond. This one goose flies in, lands on the water, and proceeds to just honk for an hour straight. It was a long ways away from us, but loud and annoying none the less. Between their nasty nature and the mess they make on the banks, there is nothing good about geese.

I can tolerate snakes if they are 10 feet way, but any closer, I start screaming like a 5 year old girl. I might have to invest in a CO2 BB gun for some of my local ponds
