Gary Yamamoto Baits

Ok what's the difference between Gary Yamamoto Baits & Kinami Baits?

None.  The  Kinami Baits are made by his son.

Exactly. I use Kinami Palm Trees (A.K.A. GYCB Fat Ika). My biggest problem with Kinami baits is you get less in a package but you still pay the GYCB price.

Ex. Kinami Palm Trees come in packs of 5 and cost $4.49. That is $.90 per bait. GYCB Fat Ikas come in packs of 10 and cost $7.48. That is $.75 per bait. The Palm trees are actually more expensive per bait. But Palm Trees are the only thing I can find locally...and I am not really into paying shipping for my baits...not when I have a BPS 15 mins away.

Difference is you can buy Kinami baits at Wal-Mart.

Same baits in every way.

I know it doesn't seem possible when you look at the size of the GYCB color chart, but yes, Kinami's do have different, and some very excellent colors.

Around by me, it's a toss up whether the stores will carry the Kinami's or the GYCB's.

Our local Wal/Mart carries both

I was just wondering why Yamamoto out sales Kinami if they are in fact the same bait.

Or is Dad holding out on the son?  ;)

It's a marketing thing. Same baits, same greedy prices.

Uh oh, I heard the bait monkey growl at you.
