So... theres still some bass spawning today at my little pond even though the spawn started at march!

Caught 3 fish. Almost got 4 but a little guy shook the hook off right at the bank!!! At least there were a couple good ones.

How much do you think the first and second fish weigh?

Hard to tell size by pictures id say 2 to 2 1/2lbs.

You could probably get a pretty close estimate if you'd measure the handle of your rod since you lined the fish up with it pretty well. Measure from the butt of the rod to that silver stripe and add an inch or two and the look at the fish weight calculator on the tools drop bar. The top one looks like about a 3lb fish to me.

I agree with Bluebasser86, the first fish looks like it's 3 pounds.

the first one is 2.9lb using the calculator. I guessed the girth though.
