What are your favorite plastics for dropshotting? I need to stock up on my dropshotting supplies for a tournament next week so I'm going to be placing TW order in the next couple of days. Any suggestions? The roboworm alive shads look pretty good and so do the jackall  crosstails.

Berkley realistix 4 inch power minnow.Getting really hard to find them now though but standard zoom fluke works pretty well too.

Other than that I like zoom trickworms and finesse worms rigged wacky.

Gulp, actually the only bait I have dropshotted with so not sure about the others. My buddy uses the roboworm and has success.

Try dropshotting a Zoom tiny brush hog, on a #4 or #2 Gammy

split/drop hook. TW has them for 2.79 for 15 baits.

Decent color selection too.

I started off with 4" worms about 6 years ago. Have worked my way through PowerBaits, HUD Helgies, minnows, Senkos and a host of other DS baits. My most productive so far has been the Powerbait minnows. That being said, I firmly believe that it is less a matter of what you use as much as where you use it. You have to be fishing it over a good structure that contains bait. If you meet this criteria, bass will strike just about anything you present properly.

Mind you, I'm talking smallmouth bass and clear water >20' deep. I've bought a few packs of Gulp minnows and leeches. Not impressed with it so far, but I'll be giving it a thorough workout over the up-coming months.

Just starting out, you cannot beat a plain ole' straight tailed worm. But the sky is the only limit with it comes to what you can present on the DS. Try a tube even!

maybe i'm weird, but depends on the rig, if i'm using an inline hook i'll run a senko or gulp alive leech/nightcrawler.

I'f i'm dropping off of a 3way, gulp alive 4" minnows.
