For my baitcasting rigs, I use Trilene Big Game mono. For lighter spinning gear (6lb. test and under) I use Cabela's house brand mono.

I'm too old school (cheap) to pay $15 for a spool of line.

Tom

I use mono for everything but jigs.

Mono on everything. Specifically Suffix Elite. I would use braid, but I feel like it prevents me from getting bites, and I don't hassling with a leader. I do have some yo-zuri hybrid #12, and I think I will be spooling that on one of my BC this summer.

I use mono for everything 14# test for worms, jigs, cranks

and 10# test for weightless plastics and spinnerbaits

and 6# test for light roadrunner jigs and micro cranks

and inline spinners.

Straight braid, but I throw plastics, jigs, and frogs 95% of the time.

Otherwise it's Suffix Elite for mono (thanks AJ), Yo-Zuri or CXX for copoly, and I have yet to try a flouro. When I get my next two combos I will try it on one of them.

braid 99% of the time. I hate pretty much every thing about mono I admit to not trying the florocarbon but my lakes are so dirty I don't think the visibility of the braid is hurting me.

yah fireline braid is good stuff dodgeguy

I have braid on 3 of my 5 BC setups with one with mono and the other with flouro. On the main spools of my 5 spinning setups I have braid but the backup spools have either flouro or copolymer. The braid spools see more use though.

I'm fishing Tatsu on 12 rods, two rods with Toray, two with CXX, and one with braid.

I avoid braid whenever possible. I just don't like it.

Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon Professional grade Trilene.

Berkley XL Smooth Casting Trilene.

Also use P-Line, BPS Mono and Yo-Zuri Hybird.

Depends on the techniques, baitcaster/spinning rig, fishing conditions, body of water, structure, cover and what baits I plan to throw.

Need to be flexible with fishing line. ;)

All braid, but I add a fluorocarbon leader when I feel I need to. I used to have fluoro on half my set ups, but after 4+ years I got tired of managment issues that never went away, so I ditched it as main line. I have not used mono, except for ice fishing, in years.

I used Trilene XL for 20 years or so until a friend suggested (strongly) that I try Suffix Elite. Glad I did. I now use Suffix Elite for all moving baits. Suggest you give it a try as a replacement for Trilene XL. I believe you will be glad you did...........Al

I use fireline for spinning applications, mono for cranking and flouro for everything else

Mono for just about everything. Don't really like braid. Never tried flouro, all the line maintenance issues sound like a nightmare to me.
