during my thinking time (fishing) i often come up with fishing ideas. i don't remember most of them but one i came up with seemed to good to forget. my idea is a tube with ribs like the yum vibra king but the great part is in the tentacles. each tentacle is shaped like a mini senko giving the bait a tail action no fish can resist. i was wondering what anyone thought of my idea.

Theres alot that goes into a "senko" shape to make it wiggle the way its suppose to.. not many out there even do it, the shape is FAR from actually allows it wiggle with the desired effect you want

I say "Go For It!" You never know what you'll create or how successful it will be unless you do it. I mean, seriously - one day Gary Yammamoto was staring at a Bic pen and decided to create a bait in that shape. He had no clue that it would have that enticing wiggle - the one fish just can't resist - until he created it and played around with the bait. So just do it and see what happens!

You definitely will have to make it and try it out. Don't let any peeps talk you out of it. Make it, fish it, refinine it if need be, but don't give up.

I made a jig in the spring of 2010 that had the effects of a tube. It was made with a jig head, regular silicone skirt, chenille, foam backer rod you use for filling gaps around windows and doors and rod builders thread. I tried it out on Easter Sunday that year and caught a nice 7 lber with it. It looked good, but it was kind of off the wall, so I never posted it in here, but it's still a fish catcher to this day.

So I say go for it!
