Buzz Bait Modification

Featured Replies

Just got some cheap $1.00 walmart buzzbaits, the hooks are suprisingly sharp, but the "propellor" i am not toohappy with because it slides and then sticks at the front, I fixed this by putting a Sea Striker plastic bead in front of the "propellor" and now it is working great for me, ive caught 5 2-3 pounders off of these the past week. Just a tip for you guys to save some money on your buzzbait purchases.

For Buzzbaits, just buy Cavitron. No mods necessary, even comes with a built in squeak.

There’s no fun in that “J”, I still like hanging them out the truck window ;)

Sort of like me leaving my frogs on the dash for two weeks before using them, LOL.

X2.

Just add a trailer hook. ;)

X3 on the Cavitron. Haven't had any problem with short strikers and it just catches bigger bass than any buzzbait I've ever fished with. Give me a 3/8oz black on black and I don't need any other buzzers. :D
