Loaded up the car today and Aaron and I hit my pond for a couple hours, midday. The weather was mid-90's with a slight breeze and plenty of clouds in the sky. These conditions are probably my favorite to fish in the summer, but I prefer the temp to be around 84-85. Got to fish the other side of the pond for a little bit today, and found a hole that is much deeper than the rest of the pond. We probably caught around 10, all small except for one big girl that made the day. She hit a Baby Thumper in about 5', right after I twitched it over a tree limb. This hole is 15 feet off the bank and right next to it is a drop off. Honey hole? I think so...and she agreed. I know what the weight is, but tell me what YOU think it is first.

Thank you gentleman! I know only two people have guessed, but the weight was bouncing between 6.9 and 6.10. David you were right on man, LOL. My scale is in 1/10's, so that is something like 6 pounds 12 ounces - 6 pounds 15 ounces. Very close to 7, and this fish was only ~22 inches! Easily one of the top five fattest bass I have ever caught.

I think that I might dedicate the whole combo to that setup, the Cumara has the absolute PERFECT action for the Baby and the 50e throws it a long way.
