  1. Google "punching grass for bass"..basically it is using a large bullet weight, 1oz or more to punch through the thick grass.
  2. I am using ReelX oil already.
  3. Upgrade will be for a BPS J. Morris Sig baitcaster.
  4. Thinking about upgrading to BOCA ABEC 7 orange seals..worth the effort and price?
  5. The high water should bring the baitfish into the shallows to seek out new food sources and new places to hide..and where the baitfish go, the bass will follow.
  6. GoPro HD HERO 960
  7. This is my first video with my new GoPro HD HERO 960.
  8. My first video attempt with my new GoPro.
  9. I use a Bucks Bags..you can see pictures of it in this link As a lessons learned, make sure the pontoon air bladders are polyurethane. Mine originally came with a cheaper material, thus the low price, and they lasted 1 outing before they started leaking and the boat was unusable. I did purchase some polyurethane bladders for $50 each from the manufacturer.
  10. It depends on the fishery and your approach. For me I only fish for large bass using 1-2oz lures from Hudds and various other swim-baits, spinner-baits and chatter-baits. But I also spend most of my time in a fishery that is populated with a good number of bass over 5lbs and up to 9lbs. So for me, every time I fish ( which is about 4 times per week) I will catch at least one over 5lbs.
  11. I still play BF2 online till this day.
  12. After catching a few large bass, my straight arm spinnerbait looks like one of those death shimmers..lol...I would try one out if they made the color I want in a 1oz, but they dont.
  13. Slow rolling a 1oz spinnerbait yesterday after the rain landed me a 6, 7 and a 8 pounder.
  14. Well, it has been a while since I have posted any pictures, that because my honey hole and been stingy, up till today that is. All three Bass caught off of a slow rolling 1oz spinnerbait in a dark bluegill color. The weights are 8.5, 7.6 and 6.7
  15. My honey hole that I fish is very near to producing me a new Maryland state record. I was thinking one day what am I going to do if I do catch the new state record, how am I going to transport it to the local tackle shop to have it officially weighed. So I purchased a heavy duty 50 gallon plastic container and installed a aerator system in it and I keep it in the back of my suv. A fishing buddy asked why do I keep it in the back of my suv and not take it with me while fishing, I had to tell him that water weighs around 8 pounds per gallon and if I put 40 gallons of water in it that it would weigh 320 pounds, like I can lift that from the ground and into my suv..lol....I carry a fish bag with me to transport the fish to my suv and will run back and forth with a bucket for more water. Yea, its a pain in the butt..but you gotta do what you gotta do.
  16. I own 2 of the J.M. sig reels for over 1 year with no issues. But I also do a complete clean and inspect every 3 months.
  17. Sounds like you have the printers set up for DHCP, which a host obtains this IP address from the DHCP server for a specific leased time, example 30 days. After the specific leased time is up the host will obtain a new IP address from the DHCP server, and it will not always been the same IP address. I would change the printers from DHCP and STATIC and assign the printers a specific IP address and on the DHCP server assign that host the IP address and remove that IP address from the POOL (POOL is the block of IP address's that are available to be leased out).
  18. I am looking into purchasing this reel for a Bass big bait/swimbait (up to 2.5oz) mainly because of its line capacity. But of course before spending almost $300, I would prefer some feedback from members whom actually use this reel for the same application of which I intend to use it on. I am curious about its casting distance, my current US Reels Hibdon Supercaster will cast a 2oz bait a mile, but it does not have the line capacity that I need since I can take it to the knot after it is freshly spooled.
