muddy water cranking.

Featured Replies

I typically will go with a dark color in muddy water, with a flash of a chartreuse.  I also try to pick cranks that would have a wide wobble to get those fish movin towards it.

I don 't care about which color if they can 't see it in muddy water, I care about how much water the bait displaces, how much and how loud sounds it makes and how much flash the bait can capture.

I too would say it's more about the action, displacement, and sound rather than just the color.  I tend to like a deeper sound, one knocker if you will, something that travels.  Also a wide wobble will displace more water making it an easier target

Like GMAN said I like something bright.  A sexy shad color would be bad, neither would would a firetiger type of color.

All the above answers.

First bait I would reccomend would be a rapala dt fat-03

Keep the bait tight to or in cover as well.
