I have a bunch of spinnerbaits but none that have that lovely brassy metallic squeal I grew so fond of in one of the baits I lost. Unfortunately, I can't remember what brand/model it was. (Don't know if the bass really like it better but in my minds-eye, it seemed to). Anyway, does anyone know of a buzzbait that makes a really nice brassy squealing sound?

Here is what I FINALLY settled on for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits:

FTO Wallets.

I'm alright with regular buzzbaits and spinnerbaits.  I just use the BPS spinnerbait binders like this.

Hmm, now I need to go buy at least one of those binders and then some of the dual bladed buzz baits.

Cavitron.  they have a longer shank for better hook-up and have a distinctive squeaking (not sure if the squeaking helps or not) bit i like it.    and i've had more luck with them than any others.

I prefer the double bladed style and believe it or not BPS 4X4 is a great bait. Strike Kings Double Take and Booyahs Bi-You are also good. Best ever were Roland Martins Double Buzzer by Blue Fox. I still have about 10 of them left, Cavitrons are O.K., but the claim of slowest would have to go to a double blade bait by far IMHO.

I've been interested in these for some time now. The major problem that I have with them is figuring out how to store them! I use a spinnerbait binder to hold my buzzbaits and spinnerbaits and they won't fit in there. I fish from shore so tackle that is easy to pack up and carry is critical.

Are these really worth the hassle of finding out how to carry them around?

It has 6 rows of grooved hangers. For the double bladed baits, I just notch the grooves deeper with an Xacto knife and they hang fine.

Might be alot to lug around from shore though. If you can figure out a way, I think you won't be disappointed.

I use Cavitrons and have never had any issues with them. I also like the War Eagles and Booyahs.

Don't worry, Bobby... knowing burley, he probably accidentally had them on the rod with his 5.1 cranking reel and couldn't figure out why he had to reel so fast. ;D

Not surprising since praise and hype is encouraged and any criticism is akin to killing babies.

Slowest buzzbait on the market? I tried running them slow, I tried running them slower. Unless I burned the bait faster than I've ever had to reel another buzz, it would never come to the surface. And then, more often than not, when it would finally surface, it would start to roll over.

Don't worry about it, I wasted a bit of money and tried the baits. I gave most of them away, got ticked and threw a couple in the lake.

I guess I didn't remember seeing your posts on them...  no bait is right for everyone.  (I'm still a lunker lure guy... at least until a 1/2 oz cavitron comes out to try)  

Send them back for a full refund-Thats no big deal- as for them not surfacing - I dont know -I have never had an issue and believe me I can take criticism Like I said my response-send them back for a full refund. If anyone else has had this problem or any problem -send them back-Thats how I do business.

It constantly amazes me how y'all talk name brands when it comes to buzz baits and yet y'all never address the real issue which is blade configuration and head design. Using the same blade configuration and head design in every situation will vastly limit your success with buzz baits.

I am at the lower end to have so many different levels of Buzzers.  Walmart out of the box (Strike Kings) have never let me down.  Add on a d trailer hook, and wham...killer lure!!!

Just learn to adapt to the fishing conditions thats all. Do blame the messenger and dont shoot the piano player. If you like a product buy it if not -like Howard Stern says -change the station.
