I like the Netbait swimbait alot. great action and cool colors.

I've only tried the YUM Money Minnow and it has produced some nice fish.  I have wanted to try the Strike King but haven't yet.  I really like the pre slit belly on the YUM Money Minnow.

The Strike Kings has a hollow body is the same effect as the slit belly or can you slit this open like on the Money minnow?

For the hollow body type I like the Bass Magic. For bigger soft bodied I fish Huddlestons. And for hard one's (I'm new at these) I fish the Academy H2O swimbaits.

Trick question. Bass magic and Shadalicious are the same identical bait. Just come in different colors.

How these small plastics ever got called "swimbaits" is beyond me though. LBH thinks they just piggy backed the search engines, listing them as "swimbaits" means they get all the hits the swimbaits are seeing lately. Smart,....but cheesy. Now people are calling these small baits "swimbaits" and it's just WRONG,lol

That's actually a tough call between the options you have.  Of them, I voted for Bass Magic, because I have the most experience with them, but I really find all the ones mentioned pretty similar in overall performance.  The Yum do have the belly slot, but i cut the slot in all my hollow belly swimbaits to do the same thing and it works fine.  

I'm more partial to the hard swimbaits like the Spro BBZ shad and especially Matt's Hard Gill (I'm still haven't thrown the big baits because I don't have a rod to throw them yet).  The hard ones are more expensive but given the cost of each pack of hollow bellies, it doesn't take going through very many before you've caught up with the cost.  But since you're just getting into trying swimbaits the hollow bellies you named will all work fine for you, just pick the one that comes in the size and color you want and go tear 'em up.

He's not disappointed, he's amused,lol.  He actually knows what a swimbait is.   Personally, I don't throw them (yet), but I know what they are. ;D
