I have used them. The red ones. They do not stay red very long, then they are gold and IMO not a very strong hook. As compared to a Gamakatsu or Owner in the same size and wire gage.

The main issue is that some bad hooks get through their QA process.  The good ones are plenty sharp.

I use them also.  There is nothing wrong with them but I will say what bigtimfish said about gamma and owner.

They rust easily.Don't ever store them with your quality hooks.

    x2.  Other than this they are pretty good hooks.  There are definitly better ones though.

Save money somewhere else, hooks are the most important part of

your fishing gear. "Expensive" hooks don't cost very much compared

to all your other tackle. Choose hooks from any one of these companies:

Gamakatsu, X-Point, Owner, Mustad and VMC.

Nothing, I've been using them for years with great success.  I also happen to have Gammies as well.  I've never found myself choosing the gammies over the EC's if I had the choice.

I agree. I too have noticed that they rust a little faster, but they still work. They are not bad hooks.

They rust and bend out very easily IMO! Just get some Gamakatsu or owners man!

I agree with RW... you spend 4-8 bucks a pop on cranks... 20-50 bucks a pop on swim baits... hundreds on reels and rods... I'd prefer a hook that I have confidence that everyone I pull out will be quality.

ive had better success with ECs over Gammies. never tried owners. never had a rust problem with EC either. if youve had a hook long enough to rust its time to trash it and use a new one anyways. also never had one bend.
