I have one tube, out of four, that really stinks. It's the new formula.

The old formula tubes rode around in my car, and in the boat, all summer and never developed a bad smell.

I need to check the rest of the tubes I have to see if they also stink.

I believe they added a crawfish scent to the new formula. It definitely smells different. Is that what you may be smelling?

The new tube is supposed to stink - like dead shad.  Shelf life is a minimum of 6 future generations of your family tree, per Bobby himself:

The Crawfish scent was made for Yamamoto Baits for sale in Japan. I was lucky enough to snag a few tubes at Dick's before they sold out.

Actually, it will spoil...  shortly after the next ice age!

Well, I got home last night and checked three tubes. I could not find the fourth tube.

One of the three smells a LOT worse than the others. Two tubes smell like they always did; not something I'd use for aftershave, but not really bad. The third tube is truly disgusting.

It had to have been contaminated. Who knows when or where; I may have done it myself. In any event, it has been consigned to file13.

Use it for Catfish bait, I hear Sangchris has some big ones in it.

I had made some really potent batches when we introduced the New Formula. That product actually works the best but it does have an odor. I am going to send a bunch of it up to the deadliest catch guys and put it in their traps and see what happens.
