I'm on a big jerkbait bite lately, so that's why all the jerkbait questions. Anyways, I have a really hard time getting the same action from an X - Rap deep as an X - rap shallow. How do you fish it to get similiar action?

Also, does the LC pointer deep have similiar action to the shallow or do you have to fish it differrently?

I don't think there really is any way to get a deep diving jerkbait to get the same action as a shallow runner. The resistance and weight of the longer bill won't allow them to slash and roll like a shallow runner. I still fish them with a similar retrieve but it's more of a slide and shimmy than a slash and roll. They are effective baits in their own right. I haven't fished the deep diving pointers but the Lucky Craft Staysee is a very good bait for deeper water fish.

If you going deep go with the Stacee (spelling). Its one of my favorite DD jerkbaits.

Pointers do have deep divers but I prefer the Staysee's as well.

The academy deep jerk baits that look and act like lucky craft are great. They go plenty deep IMHO and I and suspend dots if i want them to slowly sink.
