How many fish can you catch on one rage tail anaconda? Before it's to damaged to use anymore.

Hello Matt, This question seems a little hard to answer because there are so many variables to consider. Size of the worm 7" or 10", size and type if hook used, type of line used, where the fish is hooked, how aggressive the fish and the angler are during the fight, if the fish thrashes alot on the surface, if the fish is hooked in open water, brush, grass etc.

Since I have used them extensively and in all of these situations, I realize that the conditions and variables involved will more determine their longevity or the amount of damage received. It seems as with any soft plastic, that most damage occurs when the line is braid, the fish is retrieved or fought extremely aggressively and excessive surface thrashing is involved.

With this said I feel fortunate to trade one for one, although I have probably caught up to 6 fish per in ideal conditions

love the bait,will still use it no matter but unfortunately for me they dont last very long and they get tore up easy for me and my style of fishing.easily go through a pack during a day on the lake,but like i said..WORTH it if it produces,and they produce!!!

I find them to be at least as durable as other worms.  And more so than swim senkos.  

I've never seen one until I just looked it up. In general, I believe using a keeper hook, such as the Mustad Ultra Point, will extend the life of many, if not most, plastics. Often after a fish is caught, just the nose of the bait is torn. I cut off about 1/4" and re-rig. I've done this most often with Power Worms and Senkos. It can be done four times and your bait is only 1" shorter. My 7" Power Worms and 5" Senkos were just as effective after they were 1" shorter and I don't see why that wouldn't be the case with Rage Tails, whether you're talking the 7" or 10" size.

The bait seems tough to me. If anything,

I would like it softer. I really don't know

how many, but as long as they are 5lbs+,

I just don't care!

Much like any soft plastic, the use of a lighter wire hook will extend the life of the bait greatly.  

You can have worms in your tackle box or bass in your live wellyou can't have both
