Hey Catt, where did you get your Swimming Senkos? I was at BPS this weekend and they don't have them yet.

Your BPS will probably have them soon. The Memphis store is stocking them.

Atlanta has them too. According to Inside Line magazine, it works best shallow with a 1/4 Screw Lock sinker worked through cover and just under the surface. I bought a package when I first saw them at BPS, but still haven't fished em yet.

Yup it seems these work best with at least a lite weight on them.  If you have a Cabelas close buy or you might be able to get them from online there.  I know my local Cabelas has had them for awhile now.

Got mine from the Local Wal/Mart but I'm a lot closer to Gary's main store than y'all are  ;)

the key IMO is to NOT think of them as a senko.  they are completely different bait.  Senko's are made for that weightless slow wiggling descent.  Swim senko's are for weighted horizontal movement.  I have used them a couple of times and caught fish.  I haven't experimented much yet.  but I crank steadily, add a twitch here or there, and let em just nose down from time to time.

Interesting to note both my bass were caught at the boat as I was speeding up the retrieve.  3/16 screw in sinker.

Wow.  This is the first I've heard of the swim senko - I'll have to pick some up.
