Carrying Soft Plastics

Featured Replies

What do you guys use to carry your soft plastics?

My hands! Har-har....

I use the smaller FTO speed bags. Two of them stacked on top of each other takes up the same room as two 3700 Plano boxes in my tackle bag. In the boat, I use a couple of Rubbermaid bins for it.

I have an FTO speed bag also, and I have a bag that came with a medium and small tray in it and I removed the medium tray to make room for plastics and use the small tray for terminal tackle.

I live in the PNW and it has been known to rain from time to time. I leave baits in thier original bags and separate them by type in Zip-Lok freezer bags. If I travel and use my soft side, they still go in smaller freezer bags. There's a bunch of ways to pack em' but that works well for me.

Leave them in the bags they come in and then put those into a tackle binder.

I have the bag Bassmaster gives you for signing up, its perfect for plastics on the boat.

I leave them in their original bags and keep them in big plastic tubs with a sealing lid.

Binders in original bags, separated by style of baits.

im stuck on shore.

i put a few of each bait that i will be fishing into their own sammich bags. those go into my cargo shorts pocket. i cut back alot in my tackle selection so everything i fish with fits into my pockets.

Get a fanny pack or side bag

my BPS stalker bag has enough room for 8 360 boxes, I only use 5, and that makes enough room for a spinnerbait binder and my the plastics that i need.

i do use a 10" tool bag with a tool belt as a shoulder strap when im either going out for a while or with someone else. but most of my fishing is done solo...

I was looking at some binders because I want to keep the plastics in their original packages, but I think I'm going to get an FTO speed bag, or two.

im stuck beatin the banks also. i have a duffle bag with plano stoaway boxes with the different baits i have as well as baits still in original packaging n usually just carry that with me.

Plano 3700 series in a Tackle Logic bag. Works fine by me, and they're all readily available, so I'm not digging through my old system of tubs.

Use the BPS worm binder.... Most stuff stays in their original bags, but some things like most zoom products go loose into bags

Model I use is on sale and I must say I really like it

Although I don't agree with the new color scheme they have chosen (no offense to Florida gators fans), they are great backpacks. Being able to carry 8 360 boxes is awesome. just take out a few boxes to make room for your plastics. I'm sure you do not need really 8 360 boxes just shore fishing haha. I do about 85% of my fishing from shore, and have gone through a good amount of tackle boxes/bags, and the stalker tackle bag is by far the best one I have owned.

I used to keep mine in a big-**** duffel bag that I'd just throw in my boat. Then I realized that I only used 20% of what was in there so now I only carry one Plano FTO Elite Speedbag 4807
