Cotton Candy color?

Featured Replies

Does anyone fish this color succesfully? I have some brush hogs and some finesse worms in this color but do not have enough confidence in this color to fish it often. The water clarity is usually very clear in our lake which should be good for brighter colors right?

More natural colors would be suited for your water.

Bright and florescent colors for darker type water.

I use CC a lot...  I always do better with it in clearer waters.   :(

Pink is pink, but isn't Cotton Candy a 'smoke' colored bait with purple, green and gold flecks?

Yup, cc and bubble gum are totally different colors.

hve some zoom lizards in CC....look really nice in clear water but never caught anything....but I dont really fish lizards that much

Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum are two very different colors. Both work well in clear water. In my (humble) opinion and based on my own experiances, Cotton Candy is more often the better choice and is actually one of my "go to" colors in clear water with  bright conditions.

I use cotton candy Zoom finesse worms on a split shot rig in clear water. It's one of the best colors I've found for clear water.

I have cc 6" ZOOM lizards and they work well for me, specially in slightly stained to clear water.I Texas rig them with the smallest weight i can get away with.Usually 1/16-1/8 oz.I also use a glass bead.

Different companies have their idea of what cc  color is.  One calls it the bubblegum color pink with purple and green flake, while others like Kalins cc is the clear with purple and green flake.

If ya go to the fair cotton candy is not clear it's pink, so use the one that works best for you but I sure wouldn't call it bubblegum.
