Dick's Sporting goods that is. My local store is doing the $0.97 sale again. Right know it is 50% off the clearance price. Got sexy shad cranks for $1.47 after discount. My final total was $116.00 worth of stuff for $43.63. Might be worth looking into. Even got an Abu Garcia spinning reel and Berkley lighting rod combo that was $69.99 marked down to $49.97. Got 50% off got it to $24.98. On top of that it has a $20.00 mail-in rebate. I know it is not the best set-up in the world but $4.98 for a rod and reel!!

Dang! I already spent my monthly fishing allowance. :(

The one in my town had Big Bite Baits Flying Squirrels in Blue Fleck color for $1.23/pack. The tag still said 3.79, but they rang up for 1.23

According to the manager of the Pecker's by my house, each Pecker's can have the $.97 sale.

I will go by today and check it out.

I stopped in at my Local Dicks last night. I got 2 boxes of Berkley Fire Line Braid, 20#, moss green, 300 yards for $9 each!!!!

I have one on sale here in the flea market, other I'm keeping for myself.

Wow man, I just got back and I'm stocked on three colors of Rage Craws and Baby Craws for the next five years. They had them all @ $1.49 with the 50% off clearance price I paid $.75 each. I ended up spending about $140 on everything they had left, including any back-stock. It was funny, because the guys were trying to get me to take a lot of other baits, too.

Nice sale, thanks for the heads up. Ran into my local store tonight and bought most of the good stuff they had left. Locallly there was just one isle in the middle of the store with the .97 stuff but still did really well. I have a Dick's by where I work. Are they doing this for only one day or can I hit that other store tomorrow too?

My local store had some reels on sale but no additional 50% or 25% off of the mark down price. No rods on sale that I could see. Bummer.

Went there on Friday night....spent $36 on tackle that would have cost me $103. Lot's of good stuff too. Rapala Husky Jerks for $1.79, Red Eye Shads for 1.49, and Strike King Craws for 1.29. I couldn't believe my eyes and could hardly contain myself...

I bought a bunch of stuff Friday... LC Cranks and Sebile Magic Swimmers: $5. Koppers frogs: $4. Mirrolure top water spook-type bait: $1 (snook/redfish). Smoking roosters/space monkeys: ~$1. Spent ~$50 on ~$200 worth of stuff. I bought every Lucky Craft and Sebile hard bait they had on clearance.

Note: not all the $xx.97 clearance baits had the red tags. Look around you might find a deal you were not expecting.

Went there yesterday, but most of the items are already sold...darn it.

Well this has been fun. On a final note, I went to 2 of these stores and I have got to say the Dick's across the river in Indiana is a lot smaller than the Dick's in Kentucky.

Just a FYI, our Dick's are bigger than their Dick's.

I checked mine today. Anything ending in .97 was gone.
