Makes my winters a little easier to stand being able to get on here and talk fishing and, for the lucky few, get to look at pictures of fish that people are catching during the dead of winter. Lots to learn on here and lots of people to bounce ideas off of. Welcome!

I've learned more about equipment, tactics etc in the 2 years I've been logging on than I have in 40+ years of trying to teach myself.

The folks here are allways ready with tips and opinions regarless how many times a question may have been asked previously.

Yes, an awesome site but perhaps a bit too strict. Some of my best quips get scrubbed.

And it's true it whiles away the winter. Some of you cats live where you can fish all year. I'm eating my heart out. Next winter I'm heading south for a couple months and intend to do the same from now on. Us retired guys can do that. Now you can eat your hearts out.

Br is an excellent site, especially with the new format, which I think is the class of the field, and I'm not primarily a bass fisherman. Fishing knowledge is interchangeable between species and venues. Fishing is fishing no matter where you are doing it.
