Is there any momo or copoly out there without any stretch and high sensitivty line floro? I have been looking.. i think sufix has a mono with relativley low stretch but im not sure. So let me know please, thanks.. im not looking for any "crystal" lines either. Clear,green, or brown.

Some Copolymers have less stretch than mono, but low stretch? That's a stretch, LOL.

It's not true that fluoro has no stretch either. I can see the sensitivity aspect of fluoro in certain situations where you're fishing on semi-slack line though. You're going to have some stretch unless you go with braid.

I do know Sufix elite has lower stretch than most monos i have felt. You guys dont even know any monos that have "lower" than usual stretch, or good sensitivitie it and hooksetting power?

I use Elite for trout fishing, 10 and 12#, and P-Line CXX has much less stretch than Elite.

&I think CXX is stretchy, guess I REALLY will have to stick with flouro for most of my applications other than topwater.

Mono lines ( nylon, fusioned and fluoro ) are stretchy, some more, some less, but they all stretch; the only no stretch line there is today is braided.

Braided line stretches a little also due to the weave. A fused superline is the only one that doesn't stretch--Fireline is one of them.

Certainly haven't tested them all, but of the ones (mono/copolys) I have tested, Berkley Sensation has always had the least amount of stretch. Next closest was Trilene XT. In both cases though, neither will have the sensitivity of fluoro because it's not stretch, but primarily density that accounts for fluoros better sensitivity.

Free advice is worth what you pay for it..........nothing! When it comes to line, rods, reels, lures and whatever, experimentation is the best teacher, eventually you'll find what suits you best. You will make lots of mistakes, I still do. There is no magic bullet, except the a-rig, lol. If it were me, my focus would be on catching fish, the rest will take care of itself.

SirSnook and .ghoti. are right. While I still ask for recommendations and trust the opinions of many on this site, it comes down to what works best for you. I love CXX and use it on most of my reels-spinning and baitcast. It offers good strength, sensitivity, and abrasion resistance IMO. Some find it has too much memory and hate it. I am going to try Seaguar fluorocarbon line this year based on recommendations by Hooligan and others. It is a good starting spot based on trusted opinion...time will tell if it works for me.
