Old Yamamoto DBL tail hula grub

Featured Replies

A guy I work with just gave me 2 packs of these. They are glow, and I only use glow in saltwater. Is glow any good in fresh? The bag says they are from Lake Powell campground in Page Az. How old are these? I though GYCB were made in Tx. I am not a big Yamamoto user so I don't know.

Is there some deciphering machine we can use to try to make sense of what you post?

I'll give it a go, LOL:

Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits are made in Page, Arizona. Gary also has a Kobe Beef ranch in Texas that has a lake and a golf course. He sometimes entertains his friends from Japan there. Because of these facts, I know the baits you have are not old, but they are just a white bait.

It 's a white slightly fluorescent green RW and it "traps" light, in low light levels it glows fluorescent green. The glow fades away with time, when you no longer see it glowing you "recharge" the glow by exposing it to the light and it glows again.

Don 't know what Gary Yamamoto 's private life gotta do with the thread though.  :-?

Thanks.  I've been working with EU customers all week.  Their emails all look like that post, LOL.

If you bed fish they will work great.  They also work well swimming them on a football head.  I have never done any good crawling that color.
