That was done as satire. He's not actually fishing it, in fact the pic was taken while his boat was on the trailer. It's just a sarcastic statement he was trying to make about castable umbrella rigs.

I was wondering just how far he would be able to cast that thing, it must weight close to 12 ounces. Give it time, someone will try it.

My rig weighs less than 2 oz, but after casting constantly for about 10 hours and over 100 lbs

of fish, my shoulder is killin' me! Next time I'm going to use an underhanded pitch exclusively.
