What Would You Do?

Recommended Posts

Hypothetically, if you had a girl you deeply cared about that randomly messaged you out of the blues after two years and apologized for the way things ended, lack of closures and way she acted the last time, how would you respond? Or even respond at all?

If I wanted to talk to her, I'd respond. If I didn't, I wouldn't. But, that's all just hypothetical.

Something changed - I'd find out what it was and then decided.

Good Luck

She's reaching out to you because

1. She recently got dumped and is lonely. OR

2. She realized how she messed up two years ago and now wants to give you a shot now that she had her fun. OR

3. She genuinlly(sp) feels bad and wants to say hi, BUT be careful not to fall for her sht.

Wait a minute. Before I continue, why did she leave in the first place?

Only you can answer that question, my only advice would be to think realistically about what happened 2 years ago and where you are at in life now.

You still care about her after two years?

That should tell you something right there.

Are you in a relationship now that you may be jeopardizing in anyway? Are you better off now then you were when with her? Who left whom?

I guess the bigger question is...what would YOU do??? only you know you your feelings, how things ended, what is happening in your life right now, etc.

Good luck with your decision.

"No one wants to admit when they have done something wrong or really screwed someone over and I was no exception. I took the cowards’ way out and didn't look back...even though it ended badly, don't think I used you that summer. I was your friend and was really honest with you. Which in some ways I think what scared me the most was the fact that I told you EVERYTHING. I look back and don't even remember that girl....and to be honest I don't really want to."

That what she said. I took it pretty hard for awhile after she cut ties with me. The pain faded with time, but the disappointed feeling of what could have been lingers from time-to-time. That without getting too personal. Screw it, I'm just going get through this last week of school before spring break and deal with it then. Thanks for the advice, guys.

A guilty conscience, she wants to relieve her burden. Had a girl do that to me. I told her " whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night."

I've had those what could've been feelings before. We all have.

The one that broke my heart and hurt the worst, came back to me the year I started college. After 2 months of "fun" I realized her having left me was the best thing that ever happened to me. I passed her off to my buddies and never looked back. I'm glad she left and am happy with how my life worked out.

The biggest issues we had were her trying to mold me into what she wanted me to be. I'm sorry but I ain't changing for her or anyone. It's still wierd how after highschool she found my gutter punk style "sexy". Can't say I could blame her, I thought my braids and braided goatee were quite "sexy" myself.

My only advice would be don't fall to fast and take your time, take it slow. Never know need to rush if looking for a commitment if it is something you seek. Especially if it involves with a past. People can change but only time can prove that.

Only time will tell what the future holds.
