Hi Guys

I am a life long fishermen who has recently moved to the USA Elkhart Indiana

I have fished all my life! mostly bait fishing for english coarse fish in particular Carp I know some of you guys will laugh!

Carp fishing is big in the Europe and by far the most popular form of fishing in the UK.

I enjoy catching large Northen pike in england. strictly catch and release so the fish grow big.

not forgetting

Wells Catfish in france and I love Sea fishing in particular Sea Bass, Cod, Pollack, Rays etc.

Now i am here I would love to catch some decent bass! also Pike Muskies Salmon Lake trout Catfish And a large USA carp!

I have caught a few small large mouth in on the lake i live on but nothing of any size

there are so many rivers and lakes over here I need some guidence to where to fish!

so Guys any tips of where to fish around this area I am prepared to travel for great fishing.

Andrew - If you're still into coarse fishing, you're in luck living there. Check out the Indiana Bank Anglers fishing club (Tony Forte & the guys). Also a very strong contingent of such anglers in the Chicago area. Otherwise, the St. Joe is a very good smallmouth river, and parts of it also have good walleye and a salmon/trout run from off Lake Michigan. Lots of very good natural lakes up in the area, also.
