I need to find some good jig trailers. I am currently using Yum chunks, and I don't really like them. Any suggestions?

Paca Chunks and Berkley Chigger Craws are all you need.

Dude,the past months I fished through my tackle box for some lures I had bought over the last year. I found one particular bait that has a good profile and caught me a lot of fish. It is a yum bait.

I haven't tried that many other lures. so far bulkier baits have landed me more bass.

Paca chunks and craws are my current favorites.

The Rage Tail Baby Rage craws have been my go to trailer lately. Very good action. Even with the slightest movement of the jig, the claws are flappin'. The slim profile doesn't hinder the hookset as some thicker trailers will. It's probably the best small compact trailer I've ever used.

Other than that, Berkley Chigger Craws have done a great job for a couple years now. The Power Bait scent will usually buy you just a little more time to set the hook....and that's a big help when fishing a jig.

Try the Paca Toad with a longer-haired jig like the Buckeye Mop Jig.  Dynamite....

If your looking for incredible action, you can't go wrong with ragetail chunks or paca chunks.

Though if theres a cold front going on and the fish are real sluggish/slow, the "less" action given off by a yum chunk may be the key. Once the water becomes really cold and the fish really slow down, yum chunks and other "less action" trailers are all I use.

Paca Craws, Green Pumpkin....I like the flipper action...The small  fish  seem to tear of the pincers , but they sure produce the bites..wish they were more durable.

I've been using the rage lobster, and love it.

The Paca's and the Rage Tail's work equally well for me. I've also used tubes as a trailer when I ran out of regular trailers and they work fine.

One thing I have noticed is the Rage's are more durable than the Paca's. The Rage's are more $$, but they don't seem to get the claws bitten off nearly as much.

Chigger Craws (Both versions)

I use them for flipping and texas rigs, then when they wont stay on the hook any more, cut them up and use them for trailers.

Or something a lot of people seem to have forgotten about is just putting a piece of a straight tail worm as a trailer.

I love the above guy in cold water paired with a War Eagle Heavy Finesse jig.

When in warm water 55 or above I almost always go with a rage tail. When I want a small profile I cut down a craw to a chuck size. Meduim sized jigs get close to a full craw.  So of course when I want a big jig I go to the Rage Lobster!!

I usually go with many of the above mentioned trailers but then I tied on a black/blue jig the other day and went with a Yamamoto Kreature in black on a whim.  Good thing I did, cuz it worked great.

Paca chunks and craws are great.I also use zoom speed craws with good results.
