That's alot for a 4cyl to spin up but still cool none the less

That is Outrageous.

A man who knows what he wants, has the means to get it, and what to do with it when he does.

Liquid Shwartz, that's funny.......

bugatti veryon have 1000 horse power

I would take that for a drive in a heart beat. I laughed at the part were the driver said it breaks a lot. Yea they break a lot when there in stock trim. I wish Hennsey would respond to this guys challenge.

Here are the Hennsey specs. http://www.venomgt.c...specifications/

True, but a Bugatti Veyron weighs 4162 lbs...... nearly twice as heavy as this car, meaning this car has a much higher HP to weight ratio than a Veyron.

Yet does it exceed the ratio of where weight to HP becomes too great? After a certain point in time low weight and increased HP becomes counter productive. I'm referring to the Lotus, not the glorified Volkswagen.

If I'm not mistaken, that guy has a rather dubious reputation on car boards. He's been kicked off several of them.....

I wouldn't doubt it. The guy seemed a little bit cocky :) LOL

But what the hey, he sure has built a cool azz car :)

What gives with the 2 turbo's? They can't overdrive the blower to get enough boost?

I have seen the turbo supercharger set up before. I don't know what the point is other then instant power with no lag. I saw it on a mustang a few years ago. It had like 900 hp and ran 8 second times. But it was only a big single turbo with a super charger. He has two boost gauges in the car. The guy said it boosted so fast that they would just spin. I think he said he had like 30 some lbs of boost.

But two small turbo chargers should spool up at different rpm speeds. The super charger should have zero efect on turbos. Both a turbo and a supercharger usually hit different power bands. As for the builder. I do not know why he is running two small turbos. I could see it if he didn't have a supercharger. The super charger should over ride any lag. But he could have done it cheaper with a big single turbo and a supercharger.

Hey tiptruck

Aren't instant power with no lag, strong enough points to make it all worth it ?

But he could have done it cheaper with a big single turbo and a supercharger.

Cheaper ? I don't think this guy was worried about "cheaper"...... If he was, I could have sold him my Hyundai ;)

Aside from all that, I'd still love to drive this thing :)

Peace,

the TT/Blower combos have been around for a while i see it alot on big diesel engines and occasionally on gas engines when guys have more money then they know what to do with like in this case. it has its pros and cons me personally id stick to what i did on my 300zx TT with a 150 shot off the line with a Stillen set up i had. the shot would boost up till them turbos spooled and it just went went went there was no stopping her not even the guard rail.............. that car was a blast i miss it even though most the parts went from that to a 240sx then to a datsun 240z.

It would be fun to show up at an open track day with that thing and play hide and seek with all the expensive exotics.

I stand corrected. Not the same guy i thought it was.
