New Rotating treble hooks

nice concept , just wondering how their hooks are ?! i use owner hooks for everything but catfish , crappie , bluegills . all my bass stuff has owner hooks , just tried and true product that is second to none . so tryin' a new product when i already have something that works so great it is hard to even give consideration to something new .... anyhow , i imagine that they will work good , tho i never had a problem with fish leveraging out treble hooks , i just don't give the fish time to work against me , i just reel them in as fast as possible , no ''playing the fish'' for me . i guess lite tackle guys would appreciate this concept better , i'm just a power fisher  ;)

My problem is this.  With the hook already on an o-ring attached to the bait.  There is already quite a bit of rotation.  Not sure how much, but I bet 180 already.  How much more do you need?  I would be afraid that when the hook tries to bite that it would rotate away from the mouth as well?.. I could be way wrong, but at the price they want for them.  I will let others try them firsts.. Just my opinion.

You can also get 360* of rotation out of trebles by adding another split-ring to the one already on the bait inbetween the hook.  ;)

= Less lost fish

I have XCalibur Tx3 rotating hooks on a lot of my traps; they are extremely sharp and dig into my carpet quite well.

They hold well on my Ram 1500 seats!!!!! Grrrrr   ;)

I put them on a $15.00 Lucky lure and caught a few bass. But now that the lure is worth like $25.00 I'm afraid to throw it!  ;D

Ha! Have you tried them on fish yet, Catt?

Why yea caught my 12.8 on em but a bass can still throw it ;)

It sounds like a good idea, but the price is a bit steep for a guy in this crazy recession.  I'll give 'em a pass until things look a bit better.  Perhaps one or two lures switched over can be used for the experiment...

For me, these hooks are a love/hate relationship. I love them on my top water and jerkbaits, but I hate them on my cranks. They are the most dangerous hooks you can buy no doubt. It gets stuck to everything and I have a hard time removing it from everything down to the fishes mouth. I can't remember how many times I've accidentally hurt myself on these hooks when I was being extra careful.  I cannot say that they are the sharpest hooks I have because I really don't know, but because the rotations on them, these things are deadly.

I really like the Tx3 hooks, very sharp.  I just hate that they are bronze
