Dispite breaking a rod, and nearly cutting the top of my finger off with the siccsors, my buddy and I had a pretty good day. We decided to travel, get away from the "home lake" which has been slow. Good move. We didn't light it on fire, but did decent. Nice mix of brown and green, with semi decent size, and we caught numbers too.5-2-2012_smb1.jpg 5-2-2012_bradsmb2.jpg 5-2-2012_noellmb.jpg 5-2-2012_bradlargie.jpg

Looks like a great day to me !!!

Congrats !!!, from time to time it is good to get away from your home waters to try new places, ecpecially when what you have does not seem to be working to well, it gives you the chance to explore your baits and techniques on new and different structures and see what the difference is and why it works there and not so well at your home lake.
Fishing is my idea of a good lip piercing!

I have also found that when it comes to friends, a good friend will come and bail you out of jail, but best friends will be right there beside you saying d**n that was fun !!!

Nice fish. That other guy looks familiar. Glad you got out and stuck some good ones.

Looks like a good time to me. I'd much rather catch a few solid fish than a whole bunch of dinks.
Is it spring yet??
