That's a big crappie for sure and on a jitterbug?? I've caught a few on topwater but they're usually small ones. Nice fish!

Wow, nice crappie for sure! I was nailing them on topwaters last year like crazy, but none that big. WTG!

Great crappie. I'd tell you my biggest but it would be too embarrassing. :(

I caught my first a few weeks ago on a Storm Hopper Popper at night on Ultralight. They really seem to like topwaters! But on a full sized Jitterbug??? WOW! :o

Sent the pics in to the state. They just sent me a Trophy Fish Patch and certificate.
They told me i should have kept it to get it certified. Close to if not a state record.
I did not have a digital scale, not a certified one. Definatly was longer , weight was a question. They sent my son a patch also. He caught one at Turtle pond a few weeks before mine that was 17 1/2" and 2 1/2 lbs We sent in his pics with info. Pretty cool for him.

So where's the picture of the crappie that's over 20"? Hard to believe without a picture with a tape measure.

I caught 2 crappie in 1967 in Kansas that were 21". Largest ones I have ever seen alive.
