PETA is at it again.
A couple of weeks ago I was listening to my favorite radio station and I heard a commercial for the HUSA. (Humane Society of the United States) This is not the American Humane Society that we all know of. It is one of the major contributors to PETA and they like to make people think that they are the AHS. I called the station and the have yet to play another commercial.

Flukes
I echo what everyone else has been said. There are many ways to play with the weight of a fluke to get it to sink faster. When in a hurry to make a change I take a small bell sinker and slide in on the hook shaft. But one thing that most people don't think about is that Zoom makes two different types of Super Flukes on that has lots of salt and one that doesn't have any. If I want to keep the lure close to the surface I put on a reqular Super Fluke and when I want a good sink I use a Salty Super Fluke. Also in order to keep the fluke from turning up out of the water play with the angle that you hook the fluke at the head. Also make sure the hook runs on the center line of the fluke. Good luck

Running Dual Or More Trolling Motors ?
Amps is the measurement of energy the motor takes from the batteries. A Minn Kota Maxxum Amperage specs. 55lb- Max speed Amp draw -50A 70lb- Max speed Amp draw -42A Less amps = Longer battery life. Just for clarification let's just say one 12v battery gives you 300 Amp hours. ( 10 Amp hours will provide 1 Amp for 10 hours.) 55lb motor draws 50A of 300 Amp hours. (12v system = 1 battery) 70lb motor draws 42A of 600 Amp hours. (24v system = 2 batteries) How much longer will the 70 last? 55lb = 6hrs 70lb = 14.28hrs The best person I know of to ask about that 55lb setup is Senko77 he ran two on his boat for over a year. If you send him a PM you will get your answer.

Running Dual Or More Trolling Motors ?
It has already been said but I will say it again. A 55lb motor is at the top end of a 12volt system therefore it runs the batteries down the fastest. If you are looking for the best speed and battery efficient combo I would go with two 65lb or 70lb motors. They are on the low end of a 24volt system and will be plenty of speed for your boat and will last you all day long. You should get close to 5mph if not a little more.

Baitmonkey took a bite, but the fiance told him he
I'll play. Last week I ordered a new rod blank and components from Mudhole.com for 180. Then I went to the local tackle superstore and before I knew it I had spent another 80. Then for some reason I got a spool of Gamma Flourocarbon in the mail I can't remember winning on E-bay and then on Thursday another package full of lipless cranks forgot about that too. Then I bought 50 bucks worth of buckeye Mop Jigs and Spot Removers from spotaholic Thursday night. All and all it's been a pretty good week.

back surgery
A spinal fusion is a serious surgery and shouldn't be taken lightly. I am glad to see you aren't doing that. There is risk but it is a common surgery and the advances over the years have been outstanding. Ask your doctor how many of these procedures he has done personally. Not assisted but actually done. Make sure he has experience in it. Make sure you a comfortable with the dr. and make sure he is going to be the one doing the surgery and not just overseeing it. If they say they are going to try some new type of wonderful implant say NO! Unless he has done one before. It is always better to get it done before things get more complicated but know that the recovery can be hard. If they prescribe Physical Therapy then make sure you do it and complete it. Your back will remind you that you had the surgery for many years to come but look at the alternative. You could be in a wheelchair if you don't get it done.

How Do I Increase My Vertical?
Do a goggle and study the difference in Long Twitch Muscles and Short Twitch Muscles. Learn how to build your muscles into primarily Short Twitch Muscles and then build the ones you jump with. This will include your arms, shoulders and back muscles along with your legs. This will get you started in the right direction. Then avoid distance running.

Taking plastics outta the bags
I also leave them in the origonal bags and then sort them and put them in gallon Zip-Loc bags. The only thing different I do is I take the baits that come with a lot of salt in them (YUM comes to mind) and rinse all the salt out of the bag and off the lures. Then a dry them out and put the lures back in the bag. This prevents the salt from getting stuck in the zipper of the bag making it so I can't close it.
