Glenn, Keri and I will be hard at work at each weigh-in. As soon as we get back to the hotel we will do all we can to post pictures and maybe some video so you guys can see some of what's going on. We are very limited compared to ESPN but we will do our best.

kayak suggestions
A Coosa should be the shortest kayak you want to look at. It's probably the best on the market right now, or should I say it's getting the most attention. It will run you 1000 before you rig it. Other than the Coosa your minimum length should be 12 feet. I prefer a Sit On Top (SOT) over a Sit in Kayak (SINK) I just got a Perception Caster 12.5 and I am almost finished rigging it. Remember to take the price of the Yak and add 100 to 200 for equipment and materials for rigging it to fish. Dicks and Academy both carry Perception Kayaks. Academy sells the Pescador for 495. A great site to ask questions about Kayak fishing is www.kayakbassfishing.com. In the few weeks I've been over there I've learned the ins and outs and most importantly the safety things you just don't think about all the time.

You want to be there for at least one blast off. Get there early so you can see the pros launch and hear the National Anthem. There is nothing like it.

trolling buck perry style
I always use Rapala DT's. That way I'm pretty sure of their depth. It's a good system but it does take some work to get it down.

What is the best piece of fishing advice you have recieved here?
Not sure about here on BR. There has been so much I have learned but here is the first thing that came to my mind. "You can't catch them if you haven't found them." - DAD

auto inflatable PFD's (for bigger guys)
Spend the extra money for a Mustang. It has a nice neoprene neck pad that is great.

exf35 breaking bail springs
Give their customer service a chance to make it right. If they don't know there is a problem how do they know it needs to be fixed?

Heeeeeeeee's back...
His name is David Giudice. He is a deaf scam artist. He has spent the last four years going from forum to forum scamming anglers out of thousands of dollars worth of tackle. He started out here on BR as a new bass angler. He really didn't know much about bass fishing but wanted to get started in tournament fishing. He put together a list of things that he wanted/needed and put it up in the Flea Market. It was some basic stuff and he was deaf and on a fixed income so we let him do it. Some of the great members dug deep to send him some really good stuff. Shortly after this I started getting emails about things he was doing on other sites. Come to find out he was selling that tackle on other sites. He has since claimed he was a professional fisherman, been kicked out of one bass club that I know of, been featured in BASS Times, scammed thousands of dollars worth of swimbaits from other websites, been kicked off of Megastrike's Pro Staff, and now he's selling a drink that is 15 dollars a bottle. He has started up a soft plastics company of junky home made lures and stole logos and graphics for his website from a couple of member of this site. He then started a reel maintenance company (Alabama Reel Medic) claiming that he knew all there was about every reel ever made. Guys would mail him their reels and never see them again. I've been a thorn in his side for several years now and it still amazes me how people don't check this guy out before doing business with him. All they need to do is Google his name and they will find out all they need to about this scum. He's just another 30+ year old living in Mom and Dad's basement using his computer as a weapon.

Suggestions? Eagle project help
Now you're speaking my language. It's quite an accomplishment to earn your Eagle. It's one of the best things I have ever done in my life. I've been on the adult side of Scouting for 16 years. I am currently the Troop Committee Chair for Troop 538 here in Augusta, Ga. My specialty is getting Life Scouts to Eagle. So I know the ropes. First of all. Has it been approved yet? If not then finish up the proposal and send it in for approval before you do anything else. You can always make small changes to it later. Who's funding it? It always looks better if you raise the money for your project or go to businesses around the community and ask for donations. Now as for growing big bass. In order to grow big bass you need to build a place where the entire food chain is doing well. You don't want to remove the bluegill. You want to create cover for the baby bluegill to hide and reach a size of at least three inches. That size will benefit a bass much more than a little fry. The best man-made cover I've ever seen used is upside down milk crates. Put 5 to 10 in one spot and have three or four spots around the lake where you put them. Make sure it's in 5 ft or less. This gives great cover to protect the babies from larger bass untill they can't get into the holes of the crate. Then they will have to find a new spot or get eaten.

What is your favorite type of grass to fish
Green grass. Live grass is best.

Uncommon skirt colors for spinnerbaits
One of my favorite buzzbiat colors is a Green Pumpkin skirt with a orange twin tail trailer. It's great when the bass are feeding on bluegill.
