  2. One of the best is Lake Fork Taxidermy in Texas.
  3. I've seen them spawn with their backs out of the water and I've seen them spawn 15ft deep. It all depends on water temp, clarity, how hard the bottom is, and sometimes cover.
  4. Army 1996-2002 Keep your head down.
  5. It's getting good down here. The water is in the mid 50's and the bass are biting. It's warm. It looks like they will be spawning a little early this year, with males already on the search for a perfect bedding spot and it's warm.
  6. Matt, When are you going to start submitting articles like this to Glenn so we can add them to our Library?
  7. Just hang a small bell sinker from the hook and you will always get a horizontal fall.
  8. That is the most beautiful avatar that I've ever seen.
  9. Welcome Lee, It's about time. Guys, Lee is a friend of mine. He can match any color you want when it comes to soft plastics. Good quality work.
  10. I hear ya, I hate it when after only 60 big bass my Spro Frog is so trashed that I have to replace it with a new one. That just sucks.
  11. KickerFish has a new line of baits that stand up due to some air pockets that they put into them. They are sweet.
  12. Yep, your prefishing is very easy when you receive a bunch of waypoints from locals. That's the buzz going on around here. He hasn't broken any rules but he has received a lot of help with this one. We might see some rules change after this Classic.
  13. Welcome Zach, Glad to see you over here.
  14. Stasher1, They wouldn't be banned. They would receive a PM though. nixstyx, We are working on something to help these guys support their hobby easier. It will happen in the near future. Until then just use the PMs. Thanks, Fluke
  15. Why argue about it. We all know senkos suck. 8-)
  16. Oh and they smell a little like power bait but not as strong.
  17. I have a bag of each sitting on my desk here in the hotel room. To be honest they are just another soft plastic. You can tell a lot of thought went into them. Bobby Lane's Craw Fatty has got a nice pointed head so it would work good for punching grass. The Gary Klein Twin Tail "The Deuce" will be great for putting on a swimming jig. It's got a narrow body that won't get in the way of a hook set. Skeet Reese's "Pit Boss" is just another beaver. But Iaconelli's "Devil Spear" it looks awesome. I was lucky enough to see it when I was in Tennessee with Ike and Ish back in December. They were playing with it in the pool at the hotel. Put a light bullet weight on the front and swim it. The tail action is incredible. Now to give it more action just take out a pair of scissors and split the tail in half and the action is just sick.
  18. On a positive note. There was no fog yesterday during the final day of practice, so those guys who have radar were able to see what the radar saw, and get a good idea of what it does before they had to contend with the fog.
  19. 54lbs will win it but I can't even guess who's going to win.
  20. Versatility to me means several different things. It's pulling up to a piece of cover or structure and having knowledge and confidence in a few different ways to successfully fish it. It's the ability to recognize and adjust quickly to environmental changes. It's arriving to a lake expecting one thing and finding something totally different and being able to adjust to the differences. It's being able to fish both lakes and rivers with success. To me it's not being a pro at every lure and technique. It's being proficient in a few that will cover most situations and having a general knowledge of several others just in case.
