  1. Nice fish
  2. this is the best part ;D
  3. I will second Micro's suggestion. I was given a corn snake by a friend as a gift. I was never really into snakes but they are really cool and very docile. Very little attention is needed and it is cool to watch them eat.
  4. Thanks for clearing that up Matt.
  5. I asked the same question to Matt back in November and he said that the sinking rates are inconsistent. He said they are around an ROF-3 to ROF-10. Not sure if he's fixed the inconsistency since then. Thats a pretty wide range. :-?
  6. Cool pictures. could you imagine this crawling out from behind the fridge?
  7. I have a strong belief that you should have fun/relax on your time off when you have nothing important to do. But when it comes to work, you need to be focused in order to do your best. Also like Muddy said, if your not paying 100% attention in everything you do someone could get hurt no matter how ordinary your job is.

When I was younger I had a friend whose dad used to hunt a lot. He asked me to smell what was in this bottle from his rec room. He just said it was some "scent". Turned out to be fox urine. All I can say is it is the most foul smelling stuff EVER.
  12. Every year the county sponsors a deer hunt. Its mostly the police officers who get the few spots. I was sent this picture from a co-worker in my office who was out there last week. The people from my department go out after the deer have been cleaned and look for ticks to test, specifically for the ones infected with Lyme disease. From what I hear, when it comes to population control they follow burley's motto "If its brown, its down."

  14. At least it wasn't a public restroom. "can you spare a square?" ;D
  15. The lack of sunlight is a problem, but other things like family issues around the holidays, and money problems can make things worse. I grew up with depression, and its a shame how society frowns upon it as if it were a choice. This is what really keeps people from getting the help that they need. This can be a very difficult time of year for some people, myself included. But living like this my whole life has made it easier to read what's going on with my emotions. Even if you can't pinpoint what is making you feel bad, (which is usually impossible due to the fact that depression is just a change in brain chemistry) you can learn what healthy external activities make you feel good. Like exercise and diet. Exercising creates natural endorphins that will help you feel better for a longer period of time. Avoid temporary fixes like shopping or eating junk food, they will prove to be more harmful than helpful. If anyone is feeling down or just needs to talk shoot me a PM.
  16. Nice find Micro ;D
  17. Well, I froze my butt off on saturday at a local pond. Threw a jig and shakey head around for about an hour with no bites. I was flicking the ice out of my guides every ten minutes, but besides that it was nice to get out.
  18. Welcome to BR. I've never fished Anna, but I'm sure someone here can help out.
  19. Sam's not a fan of fishing in the cold ;D
