  1. Some times I drag it, especially in an area i'm not familiar with. It helps me determine whats on the bottom. Plus when the weight hits something it clicks against the bead. If i know there are some vegitation, I might just lift the tip of the rod slowly, then drop it reel the slack, and repeat. I usually use a power worm or some sort of beaver/craw. senkos are heavy and are meant to sink with a nice wiggle on the way down. If your dragging your c-rig the heavy senko will do the same.
  2. I wish, I'd be gettin all the ladies with that breakdance move.
  3. nice truck!
  4. Happens all the time. Its legal as long as it is under $100. If it seems to good to be true, It probably is.
  5. You're absolutly correct. I feel like a complete hypocrite, asking not to be generalized, and then doing it myself. Sometimes I get defensive and let my emotions take over. I apologize. And Avid you are correct. There are no time machines. Im outta here, and I thank all for being respectful.
  6. aww man the torture. Great fish supermat!!
  7. stick with what works. Nice Post!!
  8. Bassnleo, I have no problem with you posting how you feel, this is a public forum. Some people take different paths in life, and have formed opinions based on their own experiences. I am sure your a good guy, I just haven't met an officer, who seemed even slightly interested in my personal safety. Maybe that will change one day.
  9. I'll just say, that I was stupid in believing that being honest was the best thing for me at that time, admiting to knowing what was going on. After incriminating my self, I was slammed with any possible charges after I declined to work with the police. I must say though, I believe I was meant to go through that and am blessed to have been able to see both sides of the fence. It really opened my eyes, and probably saved my life. I don't think by any means all felons should be able to get jobs as police. I think under the right circumstances, and given the appropriate amount of time, to insure the reformed does not boomerang, they should be allowed. As pain has stated, police are humans with badges, and not excluded from fault. There will always be corruption, and this will continue until the right examples are set from the top down.
  10. Not quite my friend. I was sitting in a car with a guy who was selling marijuana to an undercover police officer. granted I knew what was going on, I made no hand to hand, A few weeks later the police ran up into my parents home pointing pistols and shotguns at my mother and father, to serve me with THREE felony warrents for distribution of marijuana. I spent 3 months in county jail, missed thanksgiving, christmas, and new years, While a cellmate of mine was released on a misdemenor assualt after 30 days for cracking a minor upside the head with a lead pipe. Justice? Im not saying that I am completely innocent. I made the decision to get into that car, and I knew what was happening. That was three and a half years ago. I have since completed probation and Drug and Alcohol classes, and paid over $1600 in court fees. I moved out of my parents house into a two bedroom apartment with my girlfriend and my dog. I pay all of my own bills, as well as taxes. By the graces of god, I was given a chance by my current employer, and am now an administrative supervisor for a local government agency. I have completely changed my outlook on life, as well as the daily decisions I make and feel I should be givin the opportunity to do whatever I want to in life, especially vote.
  11. Sounds like you got a winner!!

  17. Need a little help. Last month I purchased a revo inshore at a great price and I'm Looking for a good rod to pair it with. I want to use this rod to target mostly inshore schoolies with small (1/2 oz) to medium (2-2 1/2 oz) swimbaits, and If possible some saltwater plugs, like topwater, and jerkbaits. I figured a moderate action would cover all of this. (I may be trying to have my cake and eat it too) I would also like to use it for my bass fishing with swimbaits like mattlures eastcoast series. I was looking at these two rods. The okuma guide series got a pretty good review on tackletour and they're within my price range. I really like the split grip on this rod, and pretty much fufills my lure rating requirements. But 7'11" is pretty long, I wonder if it would fit in my tiny car, but I think I can make it work. Then there's this one. I like that this one is shorter, but the wide range in the lure rating makes me think this is a pretty stiff stick. I want the most versitile rod but I don't want to lose alot of sensitivity. Any input would be appreciated and taken into consideration, especially from those who have used these rods.
  18. Lizards doin thriller was great. i'm a sucker for talking babies too.
  19. x10 Had a few recent unjustified use of firearms in my neck of the woods.
  20. Tom Petty was good, But my girl Alicia Keys set it off!
  21. Great Idea. I think the Mojo charm is a better idea, that way people won't have to keep replacing it. I lose lures like I mean to.
  22. Same rules apply, but sometimes its tougher to use one presentation over the other. Deeper diving cranks tend to get caught up on there way back to shore.
