  1. Just entry fees and a rig will cost over $100k not to mention living on the road and such. If sponsors were not kicking these guys cash then most wouldn't do it. I don't see why one would continously spend money and not get much if any back in return. Forget "chasing the dream", it sounds more like a gambling problem to me.

It would solve his cycle problems and our problems of listening to him, lol.

    You should check out Yaz.
  4. Driving while intoxicated to Wal mart? No, not funny at all. Seeing as though I'm the only one out of the immediate five in my family that has not been hit and injured (my mom permanently) by a drunk driver, no it is not funny. I find this pathetic. It is my one big pet peeve, the guy who hit my step dad and brother was only .06 and was "buzzed". And you're just as bad for letting him drive. Couldn't wait until the next morning to get a lure and needed it that second?
  5. It is a stand up jig head with a screw lock. Just like others, if they roll, you didn't rig it right. The only advantage I xan see is being able to rig a very big or vide bait. Even then on a Pro Spot a Double Wide Beaver won't make it roll though.
  6. So they are no different then the Buckeye Pro Spot Remover or Picasso Shake Down head that have been around for years. With the exception of the second collar that allows you to rig the bait with the hook exposed, thus loosing more of them and being more expensive. :
  7. So how is it different from any of the other stand-up jigheads with screw-locks that have been out for years?
  8. I just spent 20 hours at work getting water out of the warehouse. fun fun This states stupidity amazes me. The three main towns under water (where I live) are pretty much trapped. It took me 48 minutes to drive to CVS which is less than 3 miles away because of all of the blocked off and closed roads. Yet tomorrow the Governor wants everything opened. :
  9. Cane pole> Broomstick > Premier > Mojo
  10. Find the old original ones. Worth the $20.
  11. Yup, the Absinthe Doughnuts story and the story about Ms. Vermont if I remember correctly are my favorites.
  12. with a lot of hills. All this rain is flooding out everything, including the two access roads that go to URI and 3 of the 4 main routes to get there are closed down. Extended Spring Break! Unfortunately those who live on the two main rivers in the state are in trouble, they are already flooded and expected to rise another 4-6'.
  13. BPS employees are just as bad. I liked Cabelas selection of rods (they actually had more than 3 of each brand name unlike Foxboro) and had baits I usually on find on TW.
  14. He is just cranky he is another year closer to getting his license taken away and an AARP card Burley. Happy late birthday Jay.

  16. That is a rule I would love to see in RI. There are some bodies of water in our state that see 3 tournies a week and 5 or 6 a month. These lakes are all under 350 acres as well. Some may have 15 boats or 30 anglers. Way too much pressure on a select few lakes that have definatley gone down hill the past couple years.
  17. I never understood the trophy thing, my dad saves all mine because I don't want them. I find them tacky. Just give me the memories and money. lol
  18. Snagged a 28 pound carp in the tail with a lipless crank today in 20 mph winds. Somehow got it in, on a medium/moderate casting set-up with 10 pound 100%. Dam these KVD hooks.
  19. Well you will figure out how to save the world from the impact of an asteroid.
  20. If it wasn't for the social repercussions, I would home school when I have kids.
