What is "unmanly" about talking about hot, nearly naked, dancing women in a female prison? LOL I say we nominate Burley in to figure out if Gaga is a man or not.

I go straight up on the hook set to try to bury the hook and trailer hook in the roof of the mouth. I generally use braid and a medium heavy rod and 7 to 1 reel. I set, and burn so I do not create slack and can get the rod low and have more control over the fish. So I go from 11/noon down to 4 or 5 o'clock. The two biggest reasons why I think people loose fish on spinnerbaits is because of either no trailer hook or they allow slack in the line. It seems like for some reason when a fish hits a spinnerbait it will run at you.

Not worth the extra money in costs to the anglers when it comes to gas and travel. If they want those sorts of bags head down to Florida or some of the big Texas lakes. I'm sure Stockton treated B.A.S.S. well though. I still can't believe they come up to New York either.

Totally agree Dan. I would take a 5 pound fish out of a highly pressured body of water over a 7 pound fish in a private area (unless it is a tourney). I like the challenge of tough conditions and tough bodies of water. It is great when you finally figure it out and feels like you have applied what you have learned.

Seriously though, have you ever come across anything off-shore that was man-made? I know of a couple concrete slabs and Christmas trees around docks and that is it. I do agree that it is tough to make a fish-attracting piles, of all the Christmas trees I know of in Indian and Johnsons, I have never caught a fish off them. Just boats, cars, and the occasional 55 gallon barrel. I do pretty good off barrels and shopping carts, lol. There is a car (cant tell what) with a T-Topped roof in ^*%$#@@@!%^& Pond in Mass, and yes, I have pulled a fish out of it.

I have never found a man made brush pile up here, just lots of stumps because almost all of our lakes are man made.

They are some great actors when it comes to getting fouls called their way. But I can still see them beating Kansas and everyone else.
