I can't wait to see how many Red Eyes and other lipless baits are in the flea market section in 4 months.
  2. It's so odd how many people dip once you get out of New England. Out of all my friends, fishing buddies, club members, ect, I know one person who uses snuff regularly. If you go to a gas station up here they might sell 2 or 3 different brands and flavors.
  3. ROFLMAO because that just came from a skinny little cracka...
  4. Yea I cannot stand him. But they have really cracked down on hitting any player from behind when he or she is defenseless. I can just really see him ending someones career or possibly ending his own with his knee to knee hits.
  5. Could always send it to the moon like on South Park.
  6. Should get it to enjoy the taste of snakeheads and put it in the Potomac. ;D
  7. That makes me want to think twice about Cuse for grad school.
  8. My personal best pike was 32" and weighed about 12 pounds. I caught it on Lake George when I first started fishing on a 4'8" Ugly Stick ultra-light combo with 6 pound line. I'm sure a medium heavy rod could handle it, lol.
  9. I think it is just a matter of trying to make money.
  10. Exactly, so why was the animal still being after the first two? It is just like when people get upset when a bear or tiger attacks a trainer, why are they so shocked?

  12. I understand your point but you are not helping either. The fish in your avatar is on some sort of surface which is not good because it removes it protective slime coat.
  13. Still thirty or forty cents more up here.
  14. Champlain will be flooded good this spring and summer.
  15. From my experiences all over lakes in New England and New York, a drop-shot, Caolina-rig, football jig, or tube in 20+ feet of water will outproduce all of the baits you mentioned. Fact is off-shore fish are less pressured the deeper you go, so if you locate them, chances are it is lights out.
  16. No matter what rod you choose, forget the little lines. Since grass is an issue and I don't think line visibility is an issue go with the 65 pound braid.
  17. I go with a 7-7'6" Heavy rod with 50-65 pound braid and whatever casting reel you find comfortable. Where in Eastern CT do you fish? I like right on the border and fish Amos, Pachaug, Glasgo, and Beach a lot.

LOL, I noticed that as well. Where's Bizz?
  19. LOL, You clearly need to watch more "great" Ovechkin hits. Especially all the knee to knee hits that could have ended Gonchar and Widemen's careers. Like I said, a punk wiho hides behind his tinted little visor. And if he continues to hit with his knees and low like he does, he will eventually shorten his career or someone elses. Does he deliver some good hits from time to time, yes. Is he one of the best hitters in the league? No way. Want to see some great hitters, check out Neely, Chara, Scott Stevens is border line because he did throw some elbows, Donald Brashear, Chris Pronger, or even George Laroque. And by the way, one of the forms of a charge is leaving the ice or jumping into someone while trying to deliver a check.
  20. Yup, got mine from the Weekend Series. Sucks...
  21. I want a vest with block-lettered patches;.
  22. Understood, but... I would think with the limited practice time, and areas offshore can be either really hot or cold in the summer months I would think a lot of guys would live by the idea that you can always find fish shallow. Where-as that theory kind of flips around in the cold water.

No joke, we were fishing a night T a few yers back and an older guy got a spine in his hand when trying to grab a fish out of the well. Long story short he had some sort of reaction, hand blew up like a balloon and his buddy had to bring him to the hospital. If they save hospital visits, I'm all for them.
