blue ridge brawl
From watching the videos I guess the big difference was him throwing the swimbaits in less than a foot and a half of water while everyone else was fishing 4'+. Is it common to find those bigger fish that shallow pre/spawn 5BL?

Favorite Bass You've Ever Caught and Why?
There is one bedding female that beds on the same cement stairs leading into the water from a retaining wall. She is blind in one eye and goes around 3 pounds. I caught her 3 years ago and found it funny. The next year I took a random cast to the set of stairs while bs'ing and telling a friend the story and she was there again. Last year I motored over to the stairs just to see and there she was. I won't catch her anymore and she is usually done spawning early before any T's thankfully.

I would be shocked of weights didn't really fall and KVD didn't finish in the top 10. I'm just praying BJ makes the cut, he is only a couple ounces out!!!!

Nitro Boat vs Whiney Girlfriend
My gf loves going on the boat. But I occastionally get claw marks on me when I hit too big of a wake or make a sharp turn. I generally repay her by flipping fish over her head while she is laying in the back tanning with her Ipod on and reading Cosmo. She had a nice 4 pound large land on her bare stomach last year which was great because she never saw it coming. ;D I got in trouble. :-[

Can't complain about the "Southern Rock / Country" style either. I got to see Montgomery Gentry a few times and they were great.

St Croix Mojo rod
I'm no Shimano guy but I know that the Mojo is not even in the same class as a Cumara. IMO...they are the worst rod Croix has ever produced for the price.

Fenwick Elite Tech Drop Shot Spinning Rod
I used the 6'10" for a couple months and liked it but at the time they were too pricey, no you can get them cheap or just go with the 7'2 MXF Cumara. The 6'7 was ok, just too short for my liking. I used it for my dock skipping rod for tubes on a jighead and the Spot Remover. (I have a buddy who is sponsored by Fenwick so I mess around with a lot of their stuff but have never actually bought one) I don't think you will find a large difference in sensitivity from a $100 drop-shot rod or $250 rod. All depends on the actual weight of the rod and type of weight imo.
