I'm now Shimano casting fan (I'm an Abu guy) and I never agree with RW but seriously this is the first I have heard of an issue with an E7's casting ability. Not trying to be an arse or infer anything but how much experience do you have with casting reels? It seems like 98% of issues with casting reels are the operator and not the reel. Tuning brakes and spool tentions take some time to learn. What is the drag set at? (I know this will effect how an Abu will cast, maybe a Shimano as well?)

As others mentioned I would not do it around rocky areas. In or around weedy areas I would say it is a no brain-er. Less stretch so you get a better hookset, greater sensitivity so less gut-hooked/dead fish, and you can winch them out without worrying.

Riiged no, but corrupt yes. The refs make calls in the favor of certain players (Brady, Manning, Brees) all the time and not others (Farve, TO). Now I'm not saying that the refs helped Brees and Manning get to the Super Bowl but the NFL has even come out and said certain calls should have been made against both teams. Also, a lot of the pass interference calls are bs. It's like some teams just bomb the ball up and hope either the refs see something. Pass interference needs to become a 10 or 15 yard penatly and an automatic 1st instead of these awful 40-60 yard penalties.

Both Crosby and Ovechkin will never be on a level of those three imo. First off Orr, was a defenseman putting up huge numbers that we will never see again from a defenseman. Super Mario was amazing because he had someone amazing with him, Jagr. When those two were together they had a few 120 point season and I believe Mario had 160+ one year which is the closest anyone will ever get to Gretzky's 200 point marks. Granted Ovechkin has Semin and Crosby has Guerin and some others but neither has potential hall of famer on their lines like Gretzky and Mario had.

you should hear all the calls my Dad gets. He has given with a few different agencies and he has AB- which is super rare. They call him, send him emails, mail reminders, etc...virtually every day. I have told them numerous times I can not longer donate but them still keep it up. Pretty soon I will own the place.
