  1. Im an assistant store manager for Cingular in south jersey...looking for a new occupation!!
  2. Ive read in some health mags that a banana may be one of the best foods you can eat if you could only eat one food...a large banana even has 2 grams of protein as well as vitamins a,b, and c, is low in sodium and has 36g of carbs, the perfect snack...I've read that the darker grapes are better and they are anti-carcinogen ( I think thats the word ) which means they are heart healthy and anti-cancer!! I have about three years worth of muscle and fitness, mens health, and my best freind is a personal trainer and power lifter, thats how I learned this stuff. Back to fruits...the fruit is better than the fruit juice!!
  3. great bass...excellent pic!!
  4. I use to box and more recently practiced MMA and trained boxers at my local gym. Most importantly is what you eat...not how much. I try to eat 4-5 " meals " a day. A basic rule of thumb for weightlifters or people maintaining a certain weight is for every pound of body weight you should consume 1 gram of protein each day. Its hard, but I do it at 165lbs. Eat alot of chicken breast, salmon, tuna, lean beef, BROWN rice, and broccoli. That is my staple diet. If I want to go up in weight...I increase carbs and take supplements like creatine. If you are weight training which most wrestlers do...consume at least 20 grams of protein immediately after lifting, this is critical. Protein speeds up muscle recovery. I also try to drink a gallon of water a day, this speeds up the breakdown of the protein. Remember to try to eat 4 to 5 times a day...here is my diet ( on good days ) 5 egg whites and dry wheat toast for breakfast...protein supplement for snack...tuna out of the can ( if you can stand it ) and two hard boiled eggs for lunch...protein supplement for snack...salmon filet, brown rice, broccoli and sweet potatoe for dinner and than a protein drink at night after I lift. This sounds hard but you get use to it and this will help you maintain weight. I hope this helped you, good luck!! P.S. stay away from those red bull type drinks...nothing but sugar and they dont really do anything except a 5 minute sugar rush.

  6. I have been watching Jimmy Houston ( off and on ) since I was about 10, Im 33 now. Not cause I am a big fan but because I watch all shows about bass. He's made his mark in bass fishing. Also he does more hunting now. Now its the new generation...Monroe's, Ike's, Van Dam's. Theres alot of young guys taking over now
  7. This was my first year fishing tournaments...I learned that I want to fish pro. I fished on the back of a boat with a pro and outfished him. He wasnt too happy about that. I learned that fishing from the back of a boat in a tournament kinda stinks...
  8. True cart7...I fish a small local pond where out of hundreds of fish I have caught there, the average size is less than a pound. But I have caught two 5 lbers out of there, and they were definitely different fish
  9. Hey pickerel, where at in sjersey are you fishing. I too know of some hidden lakes in south jersey...cape may?? I work in mt laurel
  10. Sorry to hear that...I wish you well and I pray your surgery is successful!!
  11. I have two heniated disks in my lower back and one in my neck ( i had an mri )...doctors at Jefferson in Philly recommended against surgery and suggested I do physical therapy 3 days a week. Well thats real expensive even with insurance so I decided to join a gym and weight train. This was two years ago...I havent had an episode since and I feel like I never had a back problem. I focus a lot on dead lifts ( beleive it or not ) this strengthens the lower back as well as the legs...and squats. The key is the lower back and the legs. You have to continue this for life obviously, but its worth it. If you need any advice let me know, I train with my close friend who is a professional power lifter and personal trainer. If you do elect to get the surgery, I hope everything works out well. Oh yeah, there are several neck exercises you can do at home or in the gym!!
  12. Good luck Murray...I'll use you as a reference
  13. Good advice Zel...I interview people all the time for Cingular. No matter where you are applying make sure you wear a suit, or at least a shirt and tie. When someone walks in our office not wearing a tie for an interview, im irritated. Strong firm handshake, and eye contact and ask alot of ?s

  18. I pray that you do well on your interview and if its meant to be, God will bless you with the job. Remember, God answers all of your prayers, sometimes its not the answer you were looking for but He always answers you. Good luck!!
  19. Also it is important to pause for sometimes up to a minute...alot of my top water bass have been caught while just sitting there
  20. Also you can walk a senko really good...cast it out then reel in real fast till it comes to the surface...than slow down your retreive and walk it by holding your rod tip real high and jerk and reel at the same time
  21. Maybe there was something toxic dumped in the water
  22. Also if you cant get to the lure...tighten your slack almost to the point it feels the line is gonna break...then with your fingers pluck your line real hard...like snapping a rubberband, against the rod. This works rally well
  23. Oh yeah...I live in Philly, one musnt be afraid of the occasional floating body!!
